Eleni Zarkanela

Eleni is an associate of the Firm at the Piraeus office since 2024, admitted to practice before the Courts of First Instance of Greece.

Her professional focus is mainly on shipping law, transport law in general, commercial, European and civil law.

Eleni studied law at the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (LL.B.) and holds an LL.M. Degree in Maritime Law from the Law School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She is also a postgraduate student of the LL.M. “International and European Legal Studies” at the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

Her master thesis is on the topic “Comparative Legal Analysis of the Montreal Treaty and the CMR Convention: Issues of Liability and Compensation in International Transport”.

She speaks English fluently.
